El man\u00e1 es ese pan maravilloso del cielo con el que Dios aliment\u00f3 a los israelitas en el desierto, cuando vagaban unos cuarenta a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s del \u00e9xodo de Egipto. Cada ma\u00f1ana yac\u00eda en el suelo como roc\u00edo, fresco, suficiente para un d\u00eda\u2014excepto en el s\u00e1bado, cuando el d\u00eda anterior recib\u00edan una porci\u00f3n doble (\u00c9xodo 16). <\/p>

As\u00ed que cuando digo que te doy man\u00e1 con tu pieza diaria, me refiero a justo la cantidad suficiente de alimento espiritual para el d\u00eda. Ni demasiado, ni muy poco. Solo… Lo que necesitas ese d\u00eda. Y ma\u00f1ana habr\u00e1 una nueva raci\u00f3n lista. <\/p>

\u00bfC\u00f3mo es realmente el man\u00e1?
La Biblia ofrece varias descripciones, especialmente en \u00c9xodo y N\u00fameros:<\/p>

\u00b7 \u00c9xodo 16:14<\/strong> \u2013 \u00abCuando subi\u00f3 el roc\u00edo, hab\u00eda algo hermoso en el suelo del desierto, algo fino, granuloso, fino como la escarcha en la tierra.\u00bb<\/p>

\u00b7 \u00c9xodo 16:31<\/strong> \u2013 \u00abLa casa de Israel la llam\u00f3 man\u00e1. Era blanco como la semilla de cilantro, y sab\u00eda a pastel de miel.\u00bb<\/p>

\u00b7 N\u00fameros 11:7-8<\/strong> \u2013 \u00abEl man\u00e1 se parec\u00eda a semillas de cilantro, y ten\u00eda el color del bdellio (un material resinoso, parecido a perla). Lo recog\u00edan, lo mol\u00edan o lo machacaban con ellos, los herv\u00edan en una olla y hac\u00edan pasteles con \u00e9l. Estas palabras me suenan. \u00bfPero sab\u00edas que significan mucho m\u00e1s que solo comida? <\/p>

El \u00abpan\u00bb del que habla Jes\u00fas tambi\u00e9n es alimento espiritual\u2014igual que el man\u00e1 que Dios dio diariamente al pueblo de Israel en el desierto. Sin valor, sin certeza para el ma\u00f1ana, solo confianza: basta de hoy. <\/p>

As\u00ed, esta oraci\u00f3n no solo pide alimento para nuestro cuerpo,
Pero sobre la comida diaria del alma: fuerza, sabidur\u00eda, paz, esperanza.
Justo lo suficiente para hoy. Ni m\u00e1s ni menos. <\/p>

Dulce recuerdo<\/p>

De ni\u00f1os, nos gustaba el su-perrrrr de man\u00e1. Hoy en d\u00eda vuelve a ser caramelos a la antigua, como la madera de caramelo y los trozos de az\u00facar.
