1118\u201319, 9 nobles de rango caballeresco, piadosos, religiosos y temerosos de Dios, que se dedicaron al servicio de Cristo, hicieron sus votos al Patriarca de Jerusal\u00e9n, declarando que deseaban vivir para siempre en castidad, obediencia y pobreza, seg\u00fan la regla de los c\u00e1nones regulares.  <\/p><p>Los m\u00e1s importantes fueron Hugo de Payens y Geoffrey de St. Omer. Los otros caballeros fueron Payen de Montdidier, Archambaud de St. Agnan, Andr\u00e9 de Montbard, Geoffrey Bison, y dos hombres fueron registrados \u00fanicamente a nombre de Rossal y Gondamer. El noveno caballero segu\u00eda siendo desconocido, aunque algunos especularon que se trataba del propio conde Hugo de Champa\u00f1a.    <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-51a234e elementor-section-content-middle elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"51a234e\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-89df05e\" data-id=\"89df05e\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4126853 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4126853\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Est\u00f3mate en el templo<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3aa36fe elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3aa36fe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Como no ten\u00edan ni iglesia ni casa, el rey de Jerusal\u00e9n les otorg\u00f3 una residencia temporal en el palacio que se encuentra en el lado oeste del templo. (Su residencia fue construida cerca, junto a las ruinas del Templo de Salom\u00f3n)<\/p><p>Los can\u00f3nigos del templo les concedieron, bajo ciertas condiciones, el espacio abierto alrededor del mencionado palacio para la construcci\u00f3n de los edificios necesarios, y el rey, los nobles, el patriarca y los obispos les otorgaron, cada uno de sus posesiones, tierras para su sustento. El patriarca y los obispos ordenaron que, para el perd\u00f3n de sus pecados, su primer voto ser\u00eda proteger los caminos y, especialmente, a los peregrinos de ladrones y saqueadores <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-9fc3ecb\"
