<\/strong>es una estructura militar fortificada para defenderse de ataques enemigos. Una fortaleza se encuentra justo fuera de la ciudad, preferiblemente en una colina, para tener una buena vista de la zona. En un fuerte solo hay soldados.  <\/p><p><strong>Fortaleza <\/strong>es otra palabra para fortaleza. Ambos significan lo mismo. <\/p><p>Una <strong>Ciudadela<\/strong> es una gran fortaleza. Citadel proviene del franc\u00e9s citadelle, que a su vez proviene del italiano cittadella. Eso es un diminutivo de citta = ciudad.  <\/p><p>Una fortaleza y una ciudadela eran, ante todo, refugios frente a ataques externos. En segundo caso, era para mantener a los ciudadanos bajo control en caso de disturbios. <\/p><p>Un <strong>castillo <\/strong>tambi\u00e9n es un edificio fortificado, pero tambi\u00e9n tiene una funci\u00f3n residencial para los ricos. Castillo proviene de la palabra latina castellum. <\/p><p>Un <strong>palacio<\/strong> es donde reside un pr\u00edncipe o obispo reinante. La funci\u00f3n principal de los castillos es defender y menos como un lujo. Un palacio es al rev\u00e9s. Los palacios son, ante todo, hogares para los reyes y reinas. En otras palabras, m\u00e1s bien un edificio de oficinas, desde el que gobernar.    <\/p><p>Un <strong>castillo<\/strong> es una casa fortificada, tambi\u00e9n para protegerse de ataques externos. Burcht proviene de la palabra alemana Burg, que significa asentamiento fortificado. La protecci\u00f3n suele ser un muro doble de piedra. Con un canal entre medias, posiblemente con un puente levadizo. Hay torres en las murallas exteriores, que sirven como mirador y refugio. Los castillos son menos lujosos que los castillos. No fue hasta el<sup>siglo XV,<\/sup> cuando la defensa era cada vez menos necesaria y el lujo se volvi\u00f3 importante para el prestigio, que empezaron a llamar castillos castillos. Cuanto m\u00e1s lujo hab\u00eda, como salones de baile, habitaciones de invitados, salones, patios, jardines bellamente ajardinados, m\u00e1s prestigio, estatus y poder se ten\u00eda.       <\/p><p><strong>Castillo <\/strong>es otra palabra para castillo. Ambos significan lo mismo. <\/p><p>Un <strong>basti\u00f3n <\/strong>es parte de un fuerte<strong>. <\/strong>Es una parte saliente del muro exterior\/muralla defensiva. Hecho de tierra o piedra. Tienes un baluarte hueco y un baluarte completo, ver la imagen abajo
