Des pointes de fer ac\u00e9r\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dessus. Mais Catharina ne casse pas, mais elle casse la roue !!     <\/p><p>L\u2019empereur la fit alors d\u00e9capiter.<\/p><p>De nombreux monast\u00e8res lui sont d\u00e9di\u00e9s et elle est \u00e9galement invoqu\u00e9e pour des maladies contagieuses, comme la peste.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c7785a5 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"c7785a5\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1f33cbc e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"1f33cbc\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aad6537 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"aad6537\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Ordre de Sainte-Catherine du Mont Sina\u00ef,<br>Ordre de Sainte-Catherine du Mont Sina\u00ef.<br>Ordre dynastique de la famille Lusignan,<br>rois titulaires des royaumes de J\u00e9rusalem, de Chypre et d\u2019Arm\u00e9nie.<br>L\u2019Ordre de Sainte Catherine du Mont Sina\u00ef, un ordre dynastique de la famille Lusignan, existe depuis le XIIe si\u00e8cle.<br>La t\u00e2che initiale de l\u2019Ordre \u00e9tait de soigner les voyageurs se rendant au mont Sina\u00ef, o\u00f9 se trouvait le cercueil contenant les cendres de sainte Catherine d\u2019Alexandrie (la grande martyre Sainte Catherine).<br>Les croyants se rendaient \u00e0 ce tombeau, venus de loin, et pour prot\u00e9ger les p\u00e8lerins, un groupe de chevaliers se rassemblait.<\/p><p>Ils promirent d\u2019accompagner les p\u00e8lerins jusqu\u2019aux restes de Sainte Catherine et d\u2019ob\u00e9ir inconditionnellement \u00e0 leur chef \u2013 le chef de l\u2019Ordre de la famille royale de Lusignan.<br>Seuls ceux qui avaient visit\u00e9 le tombeau de Sainte Catherine furent admis dans l\u2019Ordre.<br>Apr\u00e8s leur initiation, ils furent appel\u00e9s Chevaliers de Sainte Catherine. Ils vivaient et agissaient selon les r\u00e8gles de saint Basile, qui \u00e9tablissait des lignes directrices pour la vie monastique, en mettant l\u2019accent sur la vie communautaire, la pri\u00e8re liturgique et le travail manuel.<br>Le roi L\u00e9von VI d\u2019Arm\u00e9nie (1342-1393) prit la direction de l\u2019Ordre, apr\u00e8s quoi il passa \u00e0 la branche cadette chypriote de la maison royale de Lusignan, puis \u00e0 leurs descendants. <\/p><p>L\u2019Ordre a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9tabli \u00e0 plusieurs reprises par les descendants de la maison royale des Lusignan.
